The waste is not the worst part, the hypocrisy is the worst part. The consent to be governed has never meant the consent to be raped has it?

I suppose I should have no opinion on money as I have no money but I will not let that stop me. No one in finance should have been surprised by the collapse but all the wrong people pretended to be.

They call it a bubble that's inflated then it pops. After the popping takes place the blank stares from the people that could have / should have not allowed it to take place is surprising to say the least.

I find the term "bubble" misleading because there is no discernible residue to be identified after the popping takes place from a good ole fashioned bubble (water and soap) observation.

Where as I find euphemisms reprehensible, I find clear language enlightening. In this case I feel we need to change the financial term "bubble" to "boil" or more descriptively "festering boil". That way, when the boil bursts and people are covered in puss (toxic assets) there would be a realistic view on exactly what occurred.

Bubbles are toys for children and to think that so called "money managers" are playing with children's toys at the taxpayers expense is disgusting.

Poking a festering boil with infectious results should be the analogy representing where we are and how we got there.

I find the term TARP misleading unless it is explained and applied appropriately. The so called financial tsunami ripped the roofs off personal savings so they threw a TARP on the damage. The aspect that is never furthered is that a TARP thrown over a damaged roof is not the final answer. It is only the temporary initial response and does not even come close to the amount of money and labor required to remove the TARP, remove the damaged roof and components, replace any compromised components, re-cover all exposed to the weather items, await inspection services to confirm that you did a good job. Think about this as we see the remaining steps to finish the job are taken. Think about the analogies that refer to the actual job at hand. Just think.

If you haven't seen the truth about money, then you have no idea of the lies about money. I challenge anyone to provide evidence to the contrary that our federal reserve currency is anything other than "created out of thin air".

Every thinking person should see this. Watch it more than once!!!

Options and remedies are presenting themselves at an ever increasing rate. Freemen everywhere are contributing to the cause of liberty and justice for all.

I believe a starting point to remedy the lawlessness of our "elected " officials would be an organizational concept that has existed since the revolutionary war.

Unchange for the USA

I wish we had what was sold to us. We were sold change and I wish for all the goodness that the politicians offer but I cringe at what we get.

The wish I have is for peace and good will and the reality I get is bait and switch at it's finest.

If change is truly what you seek in government then the two party system must go! Of the two parties, republican or democrat there will be no change. History has proven this since the last non republican, non democrat president was elected.

There are three things you must do to become president of the U.S.A. as is evident of the past 60+ years of electing presidents.

1. You must be accepted by the CFR.

2. You must be not only be accepted by AIPAC, you must appease them and grovel before them. (note that they do not appear on any list as a Political Action Committee)

3. You must not question the (privately owned) federal reserve or IRS.

Note that we have not had a president for many decades that did not meet these criteria.

If all the posturing for the candidacy and all the lying and vying for the presidency were noble truths, you wouldn't think that for over forty years the political wannabes would be offering new solutions to the same old problems. Same old politics.

The economic situation we are in should not be surprising, especially not to one of the key players that created it. Alan Greenspan may be the poster child for alzheimers at this point being as he appears to have no accountability, recollection, or remorse for a crisis he helped create.

When is the peoples bailout going to take place? Not an absurd question considering they are giving our money to banks instead of the people that really need it, us . Which is more absurd? Taking money from us to give (loan) to banks or taking money from us to give (loan) to us?

Henry Paulson headed goldman sachs for years. Ironically goldman sachs is one of the least affected of the financial institutions yet one of the most rewarded by the bailout.

For all the fluff pieces in the media and all the talk of the U.S. governments supposed omniscience throughout the world you would think that a web site that supposedly supports the troops and the U.S. mission would have an area to post comments. Just goes to show that they are so full of shit about their cause that sending cookies is more important than discussion of the motive. They are literally insulting the intelligence of everyone by pretending that war is not hell but rather a milk and cookies appreciation day.
